The setup

A new Central Coast retail store needed the IT platform set up from scratch — staff workstations, point-of-sale, in-store Wi-Fi, and a phone system that worked the same on the desk, on a softphone behind the till, and on a manager's mobile. Retail is unforgiving on phone systems: a missed call from a supplier or a click-and-collect customer is a real cost.

The engagement

Chewing IT delivered the full retail-store IT setup, with cloud PBX configured to ring sensibly across the floor and to follow staff wherever they were. Number porting, auto-attendant, in-store handsets and softphone clients all configured against the same plan, so the store opened with phones that just worked.
